Summer Chess Camp

Twin Cities Chess Club with Hopkins Ed. Center Summer Chess Camp August 12th-16th, 2019 igor rybakov This is an excellent opportunity to develop better Chess Skills in summer! In addition to playing chess in a relaxed, friendly setting, campers will also get to play a variety of other enjoyable board games, puzzles and sport activities. What to expect: Game plays, lectures, tournaments, bughouse, blitz tournaments and physical recreation. Participants: Chess players ages 5 - 16. Players will be divided by skill level. Where: Eisenhower Community Center: 1001 MN-7, Hopkins, MN 55305, Conference room 223 Taught by professional chess coaches: Tim Lee – Chess coach of many US champions and finalists Igor Rybakov – Named the best chess coach of MN Pat Lavone - chess coach, whose teams achieved highest results in various US Championships Section A 8:30 am – 4:30 pm $250.00 Section B 8:30 am – 12:30 pm $150.00 Section C 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. $ 150.00 (Students staying for section A will need to bring a lunch and beverage. Snacks provided.)
